About
Can We Talk? Is a four-part mental health documentary series that captures the stories of seven individuals and their experiences with mental health. The documentary looks at what mental health is, the ways in which it affects us, how we can work together as a community to break down its stereotypes and associated stigma as well as our own individual & internal journeys towards healing.
These incredible stories and experiences shared by Lorena, Aisha, Michael, Isabella, V & Renny give us great insights as to how mental health issues do not exist in a vacuum but rather can be found within the whole fabric of our humanity as responses to imbalance and injustice. Many of us deal with mental health issues on the daily and have had to develop tools to improve our mental health through self-empowerment, self-realisation, professional help, connection & community. Humans are social beings, and our wellbeing depends on supportive communities, especially during these times of isolation and uncertainty.
